1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of YogVana, including yogvana.com, My YogVana, Teacher Studio, the YogVana marketplace and the YogVana Shop. YogVana is a brand of S & A Lifecare Pvt Ltd. By creating an account, publishing a listing or completing a purchase, you agree to these Terms and the policies referenced in them.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must have legal capacity to enter into a contract, or use YogVana with the involvement and consent of a parent or lawful guardian where permitted. Provide accurate information, protect your login details and notify us promptly of unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity under your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.
Practitioner access and Teacher Studio are separate workspaces. A teacher or studio may also use My YogVana as a practitioner. A practitioner becomes a teacher or studio provider only after taking the explicit provider-registration action and accepting the provider responsibilities.
3. Verification and trust
Email or WhatsApp verification may be required before protected features are available. YogVana may request identity, professional, organization or center evidence and may review, reject, suspend or remove a profile or listing. A verification badge means the submitted evidence passed the checks described by YogVana at that time; it is not a guarantee of quality, safety, licensing or future conduct.
4. Marketplace relationship
Teachers, guides, studios and centers are independent providers, not employees, partners or agents of YogVana. Providers control and are responsible for their qualifications, descriptions, schedules, venues, meeting links, service delivery, lawful operation, taxes and conduct. YogVana supplies marketplace and payment technology and may moderate listings to protect the community.
5. Wellness and health notice
Yoga, meditation and related content are provided for general wellness and educational purposes. They are not medical diagnosis, treatment or emergency services. Consider your health, abilities and environment, follow qualified medical advice, tell the provider about relevant limitations and stop if you feel pain, dizziness or distress. In an emergency, contact local emergency services.
6. Bookings, prices and payments
The listing and checkout show the price, original transaction currency, schedule, capacity and available payment methods. Any converted amount is approximate; the original transaction currency remains authoritative. Your bank or payment provider may apply conversion or other charges.
A booking is confirmed only when YogVana records successful payment or confirms a free reservation. Do not rely on an abandoned, expired or pending checkout as a confirmed place. Taxes, platform charges or provider fees will be disclosed where applicable.
7. Cancellations, rescheduling and refunds
The cancellation and refund terms shown on the relevant experience apply, together with mandatory consumer rights. Providers must promptly communicate material changes. YogVana may facilitate a refund through the original payment method, but bank and gateway processing times are outside our control. Refund abuse, chargeback fraud or duplicate-payment attempts may result in review or account restrictions.
8. YogVana Shop
Product descriptions, variants, ingredients, directions, cautions, availability and prices are shown on the product page. Images may appear different across screens, and natural products may have reasonable variations. Read labels and cautions before use. Do not use wellness products as a substitute for medical advice.
Shop orders are subject to stock validation, delivery availability and successful payment. Shipping, cancellation, return and refund terms are set out in the Shipping & Return Policy and any product-specific terms. Optional business and GST details must be accurate; the purchaser is responsible for determining eligibility for any tax credit.
9. Provider obligations
Providers must keep profiles, qualifications, schedules, availability, prices, currencies, capacity, locations, links, cancellation terms and center relationships accurate. They must hold required permissions, licenses and insurance; respect privacy and safety; deliver purchased services professionally; and use participant information only to fulfill the booking and lawful obligations. Listings may not contain deceptive claims or direct users away from YogVana to avoid applicable fees or safeguards.
10. Acceptable use
You must not misuse YogVana; break the law; impersonate another person; scrape or probe the service without permission; bypass access controls; upload malicious code; harass or discriminate; manipulate reviews, ratings or transactions; publish unlawful, misleading or infringing material; or interfere with another person’s use. Report safety or integrity concerns through support.
11. Content and reviews
You retain ownership of content you submit. You give YogVana a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, format, display and distribute that content only as needed to operate, promote and improve YogVana and the relevant listing. You confirm you have the necessary rights. Reviews must reflect genuine experiences and may be moderated for fraud, abuse, privacy, relevance or legal reasons.
12. Intellectual property
YogVana’s brand, software, interface, design and original content are owned by or licensed to S & A Lifecare Pvt Ltd. These Terms do not transfer those rights. You may use the service only for its intended personal or authorized business purpose.
13. Suspension and termination
You may stop using YogVana at any time. YogVana may limit, suspend or terminate access, with or without removing listings, where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, non-payment, serious or repeated breach, risk to users or service integrity. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and available review route. Provisions that by nature should survive termination will continue.
14. Service availability and liability
We work to keep YogVana reliable, but availability may be interrupted and third-party services may fail. To the maximum extent permitted by law, YogVana is provided without implied guarantees beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. S & A Lifecare Pvt Ltd is not responsible for independent-provider acts or omissions, user conduct, or indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.
15. Changes, law and disputes
We may update these Terms for service, security, operational or legal changes. Material changes will be communicated appropriately. The updated Terms apply prospectively from their stated effective date.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts with jurisdiction in Mohali, Punjab will have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections and any forum that applicable law gives you. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern promptly.
